Invincible is well named because it is tough and hardy, setting heavy crops each year and will often produce a second flowering after a heavy frost. The fruit quality is fair with a host of dessert and cooking options. The strength is in its yield and precocity. Would make an ideal pollinator for other varieties in a similar flowering period. Ideal for exposed areas where a pear tree is a must.
