Fortune, a very good quality, mid season dessert apple, similar to Cox’s Orange Pippin. Creamy white flesh, moderately firm with a coarse-texture, juicy, sweet aromatic flavour. Flavours best when left for longer on the tree to mature. Also known as ‘Laxton’s Fortune’.
